West Jordan City Council Chambers

General Communications installed this state of the art council chamber with all of the Audio/Visual systems required for effective collaboration and communication in a council session atmosphere. The system has been designed to specifically meet the city’s needs and match their meeting style. Additionally, it is designed for future upgrades for remote broadcast of the proceedings.

THE SYSTEM’S BASIC FUNCTIONS INCLUDED THE FOLLOWING:
• LCD display for each council member
• Multiple computer video inputs
• Two 50" flat panel displays for gallery viewing
• Gooseneck microphone for each council member, podium and staff as well as wireless handheld and lapel mics
• Projector with screen
• Sound system with audio conferencing
• Web control of the system as well as touch panel control of the system with individual volume level controls
• Voting system
• Four channel digital recording
• Speech timer
